Is life coaching therapy?

No, life coaching isn’t therapy. Think of it this way: therapy helps you look back at the past to understand your present, while life coaching focuses on where you are now and how to get to the future you want. If you’ve worked through your grief (even if moments of sadness still come up) and feel ready to embrace the next chapter of your life, I’m here to help you make that happen.

Do you only work with widows and divorcees?

I focus on supporting widows and divorcees because I deeply understand the challenges of losing a partner. That said, as a life coach, my experience goes beyond that—I help people from all walks of life improve their well-being, boost productivity, and build stronger relationships. So yes, while my heart is with widows and divorcees, I’m here to help anyone ready to create a more fulfilling life.

What is the PERMA Theory of Well-Being?

PERMA, created by Martin Seligman, a pioneer in positive psychology, highlights the five key building blocks of well-being and happiness. These are: Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Achievement. Together, we’ll explore each of these in our coaching sessions and discover how they can help you create a more fulfilling life.

How can positive psychology help me?

Positive psychology is all about understanding what makes life flourish. It focuses on building resilience, so you can tackle life’s challenges with greater strength and confidence. During our time together, I’ll share fun, practical “homework” exercises that are backed by science and designed to boost your well-being. Think of them as little steps toward living your best life!

How does Positive Intelligence (PQ)® fit into this?

PQ® helps you understand and manage the negative emotions that come from self-sabotage. We all have Saboteurs—those inner voices that hold us back from being our best selves. Through PQ®, you'll discover how to quiet the mental chaos and connect with your Sage, the wiser, calmer part of you. Your Sage empowers you to think creatively, make better decisions, and approach life with clarity and confidence.
